Left the twins with dh & went to the mall to have my hair cut.

I should of done this ages ago!! I feel like a brand new woman!! :D

Never realized just how tired babies can make you...and then I had my own!! Also I don't get to spend any time on my own as you all can testify too. So, I havent had my hair done nor my nails in a VERY long time. After seeing my washed out appearance one too many times in the mirror I decided that nothing was going to deter me to have at least my hair done this Saturday & I did! My mom actually paid for it as she wanted to just 'bless me'. And I do feel so blessed..I even wanted to get home to the twins afterwards... ;)
Yep, I think I was starting to get some baby blues..but I'm feeling so much better now.

Oh yes, just wanted to add that dh can't keep his eyes off me... :FIFblush:
with a big smile he said..."it feels as if I have a whole new wife"..but he meant it in a good way!! :rotflmbo:
It was good seeing his big beautiful smile again..

    Thanks for letting me share..

I did the same thing when my boys were about 3 months old. I had a great time and it made me appreciate my babies so much I practically ran home from the subway station afterward! Every mum should force herself to do this once in a while. It makes everything manageable!

That is so awesome. I know it always makes me feel better to have me time... although I can't remember when the last time that was... guess I had better tell DH its me time again!

oh, yes, it's a great thing. And nothing like losing that washed out look for a while..

the first time i had my hair done my girls were about 2.5 mos old; i was glad to get out, but it took so darn long (i had to get rid of the scary grey roots, too!) that i practically FLEW home to my babies!

i think it's a balance thing; getting out of the house alone, even for forty five minutes, is a great energy booster. Hooray for new haircuts!
