    Hi Ladies,
Well, we had my son's circumcision done on July 6th (last Friday). Everything went well, but oh my goodness!!! How did you all deal with changing their diapers and having to clean the wee-wee each time? The first three days, I absolutely could not do it. I had my boyfriend and my Mom change his diaper because I couldn't stand to see him crying and cringe every single time. We have to put globs of Vaseline and Neosporin in it and clean it/rinse it off with water EVERY TIME. Hopefully the healing process will be fast. Thanks for all of your input when I posted my questions about this topic a few weeks ago. All in all we're happy we did it now though.

I am glad everything went well. Soon you will be so used to changing him that you will think nothing of it. Plus I was suprised at just how fast my sons healed.

I understand completely what you are going through. My Noah had his done with a webbing repair surgery just 3 weeks ago. However, within 2 weeks he was healed even though he is very sensitive there still. I think it is because it was more than a circ. surgery and stitches are still dissolving.

I am glad to hear the circ went well. I hope it heals quickly. It's a good thing kids have it done early in life so they do not remember the pain!

Not to hijack this thread, but I was curious as to what "webbing" is. My son, Jaydon, was circ'd at 20 months when he had his 3rd degree hypospadias with severe chordee repair done (111 stitches, mostly on the inside). He will be having a final surgery sometime in 2008, which will be mostly a cosmetic surgery. I was wondering if the term webbing is similar to a chordee.

I was terrified too with my first son but in two weeks it was completely healed and by then I was very comfortable changing it. BTW my son never seemed to be in pain at all I was just afraid I'd hurt him
