Had another BPP today....

I guess because I have a scheduled C/S, my doc told me today that she isn't going to torture me and check my cervix. I told her I was a little curious.. didn't tell her it was because I swear a lost some or most of my mucous plug (if you can lost part of it).

I have another growth U/S on Tuesday ... and am anxious to see about how much they weigh. They had been measuring around a week ahead so I am really anxious for a guess on how much baby I am carrying.

Baby A is really far on my left, breech. Baby B's head is right behind my belly button and is transverse, but curves upwards. They are in such strange positions! The tech that did my BPP today was a little less experienced than the tech I had been seeing --- but she was more than happy to answer all my questions whereas the other tech is pretty much all business. I got a really cool side view of baby b today - so that was nice

OH and then my mom took me to the Olive Garden for lunch and they kept trying to put me in a dang booth! HELLO!? Do I LOOK like I could fit in a booth! What is wrong with these people!? Then, the guy tried to offer me wine. HELLO! I may be fat, but I am SO OBVIOUSLY pregnant! DUH!

 

Healthy babes, no cervical check and the Olive Garden. . . sounds like a great day to me!!!!

 

Rachael, I'm glad you had a good appointmen AND the Olive Garden!!! YUM! People are odd sometimes, aren't they?

 

Thats awesome that you had such a great appointment!! Yes, you can lose parts of your mucous plug. Sounds like everything is going great!

I'm having a c-section too and my OB said I didn't need an internal. I asked if she could do one because I was curious. She was like, well if you want me to torture you, ok. I was only 1cm, which I had a feeling about. I still haven't had one contraction or even a Braxton Hicks. It's crazy. She even seemed surprised by that.

 

Sounds great!! I never got a cervical check either b/c I was going c-section. At 33wks, don't want to bother things down there anyways. Of coarse, when I hit 36wks, I wanted one....just b/c of curiousity. I knew I was losing my plug in bits. I probably wasn't dialated cause I had the cervix of steel. Did not even start coming close to shortening til 34wks. I had them at 36w5d anyways via emergancy c/s.
