Gun rack

I just got my new RMAX2 XT-R and it will be used for hunting. So I designed a gun rack that will keep the rifles out of the elements and not block the view out the back window. It was easy to build and for everything around $200. The case is the Cabela's UTV case.

 

I see it’s been a while since this was posted, but I’m curious—has anyone tried mounting a vertical gun rack on the rear side of the bed seats rather than the roof or back wall? I’ve been thinking about ways to keep things secure but still easy to grab without taking up too much space. Wondering what setups have worked best for everyone out on the trail.

 

Nice setup! Keeping your rifles protected from the elements and still maintaining visibility is a smart move — especially for hunting trips. I went a similar route for my UTV, but when it comes to storing them back at home, I invested in the best gun safe I could find. Peace of mind knowing everything’s secure when not in the field.
