Guess who's walking?!

We were beginning to wonder if Avery was ever going to walk! The past few days he finally started taking a few steps here and there if we stood him up and encouraged him. Well, yesterday, he was standing at the end table and holding on to it when DH walked in. His face lit up and he took off running toward him! He got about 8 steps before he fell over. It took me a while to realize why he kept falling forward after a few steps. I kept saying "I don't remember the girls doing that." Then I realized it was because he's just trying to run! Forget walking! :laughing: He did it over and over last night. We figured out very quickly though not to aim him at any hard furniture since he keeps going face-first!

I have no idea when Olivia will start "walking" or running..lol! I'm actually ready for her to start walking. Going outside I can't let her crawl around in the grass b/c it ruins her pants...not on the concrete patio b/c it digs holes in her pants...ugh. I'm ready for walking! The twins were 13 months, but Livi has 7 lbs on what their size was...so I know that is slowing her down.

I was just telling DH last night that "can you believe Olivia is a year old and we have yet to get out a baby gate!" LOL!!! I have ONE baby gate to put at the bottom of the stairs and she can't even climb up them yet, so I have been putting it off. Crazy!
