Guess what we have!

And yes, we got the vacerilla shot at their 12 mos. wbv. It doesn't look like it's going to be very bad but it's definitely chickenpox! He's acting fine - still playing, laughing, and eating. (Oh, it's Logan that has it - now we're just waiting to see if Keaton and Lily Belle will get it!)

 

WE just went through those! My 6 year old was first. He got a light case (about 12 spots) because he had the vaccine, My older 2 kids were sick the same week with the same symptons, except spots. Then the twins got it. They were 10 months old, no shots yet. Robert first, then after he was done, 10 days later Steven got spots. His scars are actually pretty bad. Their skin is different. Robert is more olive skin and Steven is much fairer.

I hope all goes well at your house. It was amazing how many people wanted to know if they were contagious because they wanted their kids to get Chicken Pox. We did share it with one friend by accident, but she said she was glad he had it over and done with.

Oh Holy Guacamole!!! Keri, I am SO sad for you!! I hope it's not TOO rough! I am freaked about Chicken Pox. I never had them (I supposedly have the immunity) but I just really have a mind block that I just don't want to deal with it! Good luck!! :hug99:

oh no! well, the good news is that since they are young and had the vaccine it should be mild. but omg i can't believe they got it even after the vaccine!

We just finished with this (I hope - we're still in the possible incubation stage) at my house. My oldest had the vaccine in 1996 and got them. He did have a mild case, but we're still waiting out the incubation stage to see if the girls all get it.
