Growth Issues

First I just want to say that I had to reregister because for some reason it wouldn't let me on. I used to be OHmom05.

Ok - quick history:

After seeing an RE we got pg with twins using Follistim/HCG.
6w3d, we saw 3 sacks: 1 empty, one fetal pole no heartbeat, one sack with a heartbeat.
8w0d, we saw 3 sacks: 1 still empty and now two with heartbeats but measuring quite differently, both with very strong heartbeats.
12w2d (today), 2 babies: Again US Tech notices big difference in size just upon looking and seeing both babies. Baby A measures at 12w3d, Baby B, on first measurement tech is puzzled because (s)he measures 12w0d but LOOKS smaller. A few more measurements later and the official measurement she goes with is 11w3d - a full week behind Baby A.

I saw my OB and she seemed quite puzzled because they were measuring so differently but Baby B has such a strong heartbeat and anatomy looks perfect. She is sending me to a perinatologist to get his opinion on what's going on. Now I have to wait for the Peri to give me an appt and my OB office to call and let me know when that is. I'm going to go crazy in the meantime. Please tell me some good (and bad if any) stories about this happening. I am so worried now about little Baby B and I would be beyond devastated if something happened to him/her.

Here are some pics from today - you can even kind of tell that the babies look like they're at different stages, or maybe just that A is more clear than B? Not sure. The US Tech was less than pleasant and didn't even turn the screen so that I could see anything without craning my neck like crazy. *sigh*

I hope everything works out for you. It is encouraging that you have made it this far and still see two babies and two heartbeats. Keep us updated!
