I've noticed lately that I can tell what the girls have eaten during the day by looking at their poop. Is this normal? It happens with specific foods, like blueberries and corn. It's like they aren't chewing it before they swallow, and then their little stomachs aren't digesting it, and it comes out looking the same as it did going in! Anyone else experience this?

I don't know if I've ever given blueberries but corn always comes out looking the same as it went in. Even with my 2 year old, grapes too.

    Steven is almost 3 (1-22)
Christopher and Joshua are 6+months (6-16)

I think that is normal, especially with corn. They do quite a bit of swallowing without much chewing in the beginning.

Unfortunately yes. Even the smell. [IMG] We try to do some quick diaper changing around here. The same thing happened with my older 2 DD's. At this age, I don't think a whole lot of chewing goes on. I know my babies don't- with only 2 and 4 teeth apiece.

It's perfectly normal. Sometimes, while you don't see "chunks", the color is affected by what they eat, too. Also, when my oldest was still in diapers, raisins came out looking like grapes! [IMG]
