Gross, Gross, Gross! (poop Story)

Trevor has been cranky all morning and when they slept 2.5 hours for their morning nap, I thought they were either not feeling well or didn't sleep as well as I thought they did last night (the 1st nap is usually 1-1.5 hours). Anyway, they were happy when they woke but I could smell the poop from the hall so I knew I had a double stinky diaper change waiting for me.

It was a mega messy one and Trevor's onesie needed changed so I stripped him down and gave him a good scrubbing. I then let him roam free to air out while getting Trent cleaned up. Trevor went to their closet, opened the door, and went inside. Not out of the norm. Then, he came back out saying, "Uh Oh" and I could see poop down his leg and on his foot. The closet didn't fare as well. I was still cleaning Trent so I decided to take them both to the tub and wash them off. As soon as I opened the door, they both made a run for our bedroom. I grabbed Trevor and held him under my arm while chasing down Trent. He made it as far as our closet. I had Trent by the hand and Trevor still under the arm and I started back toward the bathroom.

That was when it happened. Trevor started kicking and screaming and the poop began to fly. He projectile pooped and somehow managed to aim right at Trent's head. Trent started to cry hysterically as the poop ran down the back of his head and arm. The carpet was covered. I couldn't really do much except continue to the bathroom and plop Trevor on the potty while I washed Trent in the tub (drain open, water running... good thing he's not afraid of the tub). Eventually, I had two clean and dressed babies.

Thank goodness we have a carpet steamer!!! Also fortunate, it's a good day for open windows because the smell is just awful. Anyway, poor little Trent has now been projectile pooped on by his loving brother. Can't wait to see how he repays that favor.

 

I am sorry that was funny, i know i wouldn't have been laughing if it happened to me either, but to read a story like that it almost sounds unreal but having 5 kids i know anything can happen..hope they are all "POOPED OUT"...

Deb, sorry but I had to chuckle as I read your description! I could picture the chaos in my own home (please don't let it happen to me!) but what a nightmare!! I am sorry you had poltergeist poops!! Hope they get better soon!

I was absolutely laughing hysterically as I read your post, as we are also having the projectile poops at our house right now. You were wonderful to keep a sense of humor about it! Hope they are feeling better soon!

 

Yuck, yuck, yuck!!!! I feel sorry for your boys and that you had to clean that mess up but man that was funny. I just read your post to my DH and he's still laughing. Thanks for the chuckle.
