Grinding teeth?

JT has 6 teeth (4 top) and today when I was holding him I realized he was grinding his teeth! Is this normal? Will he outgrow it? I figured it was maybe bc those top 2 are finally really noticeable so he must be able to feel them more....anyone else?

 

Mine did the same thing, at pretty much the same age (maybe a little earlier.)

It only lasted a few weeks, and they don't do it anymore!

 

yep, we had that here too... horrible sound, but it only lasted a week or so..

 

My little guy is grinding his teeth too. his bottom two are fully out but the top two are just starting. It drives me nuts but hopefully it wont last long.

 

My one DS that has teeth (6) loves to grind them. Annoying sound but I don't think there's any harm in it. Now when he tries to sharpen those teeth on my toes ... :escape:

 

My DS was a tooth grinder during the FY and has grown out of it for now.

 

My DS is doing it too and I can't stand it!

 

Oh how I hated that sound! It does pass quickly though! It's totally normal. He's just exploring what those new things in his mouth can do.

 

Ugh! I can't stand the noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping it passes quickly!

 

It is a horrible noise! My DS is doing it now (almost 9 months) and I think it's because he was/is using his bottom teeth to help cut the top two he had coming in. It totally freaked me out once I realized what he was doing!

 

I had a couple of tooth grinders & I couldn't stand the sound! :bad: But they did outgrow it after a month or so.

 

:gah: A MONTH!!! I won't make it girls I wont!!! LOL!
