Great Twin Diagram

I want to share the great twin diagram I found when I was researching exactly what mono/di meant. One word of caution is do not press the forward arrow if you do not want to see some pretty gross/sad photos. I started looking at the other photos and a few were cool because they showed twins in the uterus, but then I came upon a miscarriage photo and it made me cry.

Like telling someone not to watch a train wreck, I couldn't help but hit that forward button. Yikes. The diagram before was great, though... I think I'd stumbled upon those pictures when I was first pregnant and researching on the internet...

 

Loved the first few photos! Didn't go to far though. Thanks for the link. Love seeing them in utero.

I knew some people would still look but I figured it would be better to give the disclaimer. I'd feel really bad if someone happened upon the photos through my link and it upset her. So, view at your own risk is my advice for the other photos!

 

Wow seeing those pics make me realize even more how truly amazing having twins is. The dangers they have to face inside mommys belly are so many and how they manage to pull it off is just a miracle !

 

I couldn't help but to hit the forward button either..how sad.

Very interesting - we dealt with TTTS and a 2 vessel cord, and velamentous cord insertion, so it was interesting to see what those look like.
