I have let the house go. I mean really let it go. I can care for the kids and work, work and keep house, or keep house and care for the kids; but not all 3!

I was really getting down about it today and was feeling embarrassed cause my MIL was coming over to watch the babies while I ran off to the office. She's super nice, but still - I've REALLY let the house go.

When I got home 3 hrs later, she and my DD had cleaned the whole house: laundry all done, folded, put away. Floors swept and vaccuumed. Dishes done and put away. Counters cleared and sanitized. Living room picked up. They even made my bed and took out the trash....

I am in tears with relief just walking in and seeing that was the best gift I've gotten in so long!!

I'm feeling so blessed right now and just wanted to share.

BTW, if this is what it's like to have maid service once a week or whatever, I might just find a way to afford it every now and then!!

    Yaaaay, Trinady and MIL!

AND - good for you for making that decision; at the end of the day, you won't rmember your clean house except in broad strokes, but you will remember the times you had w/your sweet girls - and they are SOOO adorable!

I completely understand this! I'm living in it now! Lately, it seems like a little bit of everything is suffering, because I'm trying to do it all. And that has to stop.

That is SO GREAT that they were able to help you out like that!! Now, let's you and me figure out how to pay a housekeeper! :D

WOO HOO! I know that was such a wonderful surprise!!! it would have been my greatest gift also!!

I would have never thought before my girls were born that coming home and my house being cleaned would be a dream
gift - but I am so jealous !!- everytime I leave when I come home my house is worse than it was when I left!!
that was so sweet of Trinady and your MIL -
