I just typed up a post and it got erased [IMG]...all right here goes.
We had full measurements today and the babies' estimated weights are 2 lbs. 14 oz. and 3 lbs. Everything else looked good too. I was a little worried about my cervix measurement because my contractions have been stronger lately...but it was about 5 cm! Contractions have felt more achy/crampy down low lately, but I guess it's still not enough to change things.

Starting 2 weeks from now we'll start having weekly NSTs, BPPs, Doppler studies, etc. I'm a little worried about going up there every week. Today my contractions were crazy in the car, but are better now that I'm home. I asked the doctor if this almost 2 hr. trip was okay the farther along I get and he said yes. I'll just need to get out and stretch here and there. Maybe I can try to lay down? I'm just worried about how I should wear my seatbelt.

Great appointment! Wow, a 2 hour drive, that's no fun. You know, towards the end when I went to doctor's appointments, I would only wear the top part of the seatbelt [IMG], I know, but I felt like I was always squishing someone with that bottom belt!! [IMG]

Glad to hear the appointment went well!

I used to recline the passenger seat as far as possible and wear the seatbelt like normal. It was actually fairly comfortable. I hope you can find a position that is comfortable for you!

Congratulations on your good appointment! [IMG] [IMG]

I reclined my seat in the car for comfort. Reclined quite a bit actually... I steered with the bottom of the wheel. But I kept my belt on top and bottom. 2 hours is a LONG drive. Definitely find a few "regular" stops along the way to break at for a stretch, drink and potty break.

I am so glad for you; I know it has been such a long ride. Those are wonderful weights, too!

I'm so glad you had a great appointment and that your babys' weights are so close. Will dh or someone else be driving you to your appointments? I would get a driver and recline as far as possible in the passenger seat with seatbelt on. I did this while in labor w/ dd and laying in the seat made the 50 minute ride to the hospital much more comfortable!

Yes, DH has been able to go with me to my appointments. I've basically switched from the front seat to back seat off and on. In the back seat I can put my feet up in the middle, so at least they're elevated, but my back really starts hurting. The front seat does recline nicely, but it doesn't have the best lumbar support (or it's in the wrong place) so my back hurts there too. [IMG] I think I'll bring a pillow next time and see if I can get more comfy that way.
