Great book suggestion

If any of you happened to catch 20/20 the other night about social taboos, there was a book mentioned about motherhood that I picked up and highly recommend. It's called "I was a Really Good Mother Before I had Kids."

It talks a lot about the reality of motherhood, the guilt that comes with it, how we feel pressured to raise perfect kids, and way moms tend to judge other moms about their choices (ie: working / not working.)

It's a very quick read, and very realistic from what I have experienced. It's helping me not to be so hard on myself and to be more understanding of all the moms around me.

Just thought I would mention it since I know we all have tons of free time to catch up on our reading! :blush:

I've seen this book and the two author's on a few different shows lately. I think they were just on Rachael Ray last week. It seemed like an interesting book.
