Great Blog about carrying twins FULL TERM

Hi to everyone on the expecting board! I obsessively read a great blog called "Looky Daddy" (and Looky Daddy himself occasionally posts on Twinstuff) written by a SAHD of twins plus one. His wife recently posted a column on carrying twins full term - says that you always here the stories of twins being preemies, and she thought all those full term mommies should get to share their stories.

Check it out - it's pretty inspirational and I thought that all you pregnant soon-to-be twin mommies could use a little inspiration.

It is definitely possible!! Everyone should be hopeful and positive about this possibility. Every single doctor I met with throughout my pregnancy (4-5 doctors), ultrasound technicians, nurses etc. told me I would deliver early. They said it like it was a fact. I had several "risk factors" including twins, my age, etc. Well premature delivery is NOT an inevitable outcome with twins! I delivered at 38 weeks, 1 day via a scheduled c-section. And the doctors who delivered them said I did not have one sign of labor and would have most likely gone past 40 weeks.

I stressed myself out the entire pregnancy worrying about premature labor. I knew the stats, I read the books, I heard the doctors, etc. But this site is proof that you CAN go to full term - many of us did. Just try to relax and stay positive!
