I came across at great deal at Sear's today on a Graco Element Pack-n-Play. It was on sale for $79. I bought it figuring if it wasn't what I needed I could take it back easily. Well, I have been doing my research and have only come across the one PnP for twins by Graco...and I was not pleased with the reviews.

I was just trying to figure out what worked best for you and yours? Ideally I would like to keep the babies in a PnP in our room for a while. Would I be better off buying 2 of these PnP? I would still be getting them for the price of one basically.

I am sure you are all well aware, but with having to prepare for two, I am trying to stock up on things when I come across a good deal.
    What do y'all think ladies!?

I got a Graco Pack N Play with twin bassinets from a friend, so we are planning on using the bassinets, but if not, I would have just bought a Pack N Play similar to yours that has the raised level and put the babies there :) Hope that helps!

We have two, but only used one when they were small. Our rationale is that we will need two when we travel, so one is at my parents' and one stays here (less to transport on trips).

I had the twins in one pack n' play in my room for the first few months, until they slept through the night. One worked fine for me in the beginning.

I only have one as well and the girls slept in it in our room for the first couple of months. My Mom has one at her place and so does my MIL so that cuts down on having to pack 2 when we go to their houses. If you plan to travel at all you will eventually need 2.

Your explanation is so much more concise! This is what I meant by having one at my parents'. ;)

We only ever had one. One that was almost just like the one you bought. My girls WILL not sleep separate and never have. The twin bassinet would have been a huge waste for us. Even when we traveled, we did not have room in our SUV for 2 pack n plays so we just took one and they slept in it together, the way they always sleep anyway.

Thanks ladies! I went ahead and put together the one I had because I wanted to see what I thought about it. I liked it enough, and at the cheap price I decided to go back and get another one. If anything we can leave one at the grandparents for use there.

I have 90 days to change my mind! :)

I had 1 but my BF has 1 which she gave us. Mine slept in their PNP in the living room for a few months but now sleep separately so if we travel we need 2.

If you travel much I don't think you will regret getting 2. Mine shared a crib in our room until 4 months when they moved to their own cribs in their room. There was plenty of room for them and they liked to snuggle together. We would put them on opposite sides of the crib to try to keep them off one another, but by morning they were always snuggled up. It was really sweet.

We also had a PNP set up in the living room. It was convenient having a safe place to put them down where we were most of the time for naps so we could keep an eye on them. It also helped them get used to all kinds of sounds. They sleep like rocks now.

And even though they are in big kid beds at home now we still take their PNPs when we travel. They are just now to the point where they are growing out of them length wise. They still like to sleep in them - familiar beds in unfamiliar places and we don't have to worry about them rolling off a big bed at a hotel.
