I saw a posting about this a while back, but cannot find it now.

Did anyone get the Grace Pack N Play Twins Bassinet and like it? I need to finish up my registry and I cannot decide between that one or just getting two separate ones.

    Any information would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

I have heard more bad things about that PnP than good, so I didn't register for it. I have heard a lot of twin mom's say that they just got 2 PnP's. GL!

I have it and we used it as the babies bassinet and now we use it as a play pen. We love it and are still using it at 9 months old.

I had it, and the twins bassinet thing just never worked well for us. The babies tended to roll towards the middle because there is nothing to support the middle (the bassinet anchors on the four corners of the pnp). If one slightly stirred, it woke the other up since they were laying on the same suspended bassinet bottom.

If I had to do it again, I'd get two cheaper pnps.

I had it and liked it, but also had a second PNP so that when they were bigger they each had their own.

I did do research on it and got it for half of what it was selling for at most places (this was 2 years ago - it was usually about 200 and I found it online ofr 100). if you are having to pay full price meaning 200 then skip it and just get two separate ones.

Is it larger than a regular one?

We just don't have room for 2.

We had it and liked it okay for a while. Eventually, the bassinet part didn't work for us at all and we ended up using the actual pack and play instead. I would say that if you have room for two bassinets, then just do that. It's not worth the money really, unless you buy it used.

    We're still using ours.

For awhile, both kids would cuddle on one side, then one in each bassinet, and now we sleep them in the bottom of the pack 'n play. They're almost 9 months, and we may need to find another solution because our DS is really mobile and crawls on his sister.

We've really liked it. It's definitely bigger than a regular one. Ours are getting a little long for my parent's pack 'n play, but still fit quite well in the twin one.

    Good luck!

Yep, I'd do it again. We never used the bassinet thing because we always put them to sleep in their cribs upstairs. The couple of times that I put them in there, they rolled to the center. Maybe it would be better if they were heavier, but this is when they were like six pounds.

We bought another PNP when they couldn't fit in there together to sleep on overnight visits to grandmas. DD is pretty crammed in the smaller one, but DS still fits with room to spare.

Regular PNP sheets won't fit, so you need to trim up a regular sheet. Who knows, maybe by now Graco makes a sheet for them?

We had one. Wasn't really worth it. We had them both sleep on one side and used the other side to hold diapers, wipes, burp clothes and such. It's much bigger than a regular PNP and now mine can't sleep togehter so it's just big and bulky. I would get 2 cheaper ones. I think that 2 cheaper ones are a better long term investment.

I think 2 cheaper ones are better than the twin pnp. Once they outgrow the bassinet they won't be able to share the bottom part anyway. We got away with just using 1 cheaper pnp, but that depends on how you plan to use them. We had regular cribs upstairs, and then the 1 pnp downstairs (with changing table attachment, that part was a MUST for us). We used the pnp for naps for one DD, the other DD liked her naps in her bouncy seat. If had two babies that needed to sleep in a crib I would have had to get a second pnp, but you won't know until they get here!

If I were you I'd register for 2 cheaper pnp's, but if you don't get any as gifts then just buy 1 and wait and see how it goes. They will both be able to sleep in the bassinet of the 1 cheaper pnp, ours did for the first few weeks until 1 developed acid reflux and moved to the bouncy seat. Once their combined weight exceeds the limit of the bassinet then you can decide if you need a second pnp or not.

I just had a regular PNP with the full size bassinet in it. My girls loved to cuddle up close when they slept. We used the PNP during the day and at night we used a normal bassinet until they were 3 months old and we moved them to a crib.

I never got the twin P&P, but we had 2 regular P&P's and I loved having 2. At first we could have one P&P in our room and one on the main floor, then later we used both for travel. I think we used them for the last time this summer traveling (sniff, sniff).

We did the same. I loved having 1 in our bedroom they could share and one in the family room. Now we use them for travelling.

The moms in my twins club suggested 2 regular pack n' plays and I am so happy we went that route. In the beginning they can share 1 easily.

I'm wondering if the extra room in the twins one is good. Have 2 PnPs is NOT an option for us. We are now debating between a regular one and the twin one based on size.

We got the twin P&P too. Our families live in 2 different states so we did a lot of traveling with the boys early on. I will tell you that it was hard to find a hotel room big enough to put the P&P up in that is a reasonable price! Also I wasn't able to find the P&P sheets for it because it is larger than the regular sized ones. I think they sleep better in their own when they get to rolling/moving around while they sleep. Good Luck!! :)

I second this, we have the regular PNP with the full size bassinet and it worked really well for us. We mainly used the bassinet when they were first born and they would take naps in it. They loved being close together!
