I have been very blessed with 2 new cribs... actually we had a very nice Jardin crib and found out it was recalled and the company sent me a voucher to purchase a new crib, but it was so much I was able to buy 2 new cribs.. but I don't think I want to set one up in our room due to it being such a pain to take them down again and put back up. The twins will eventually be upstairs with our oldest. We are thinking of getting a new Graco Pack n Play and putting the twins in the bassinet until they reach the weight limit.. what do you all think? How many of you have done this or plan on doing this? My momma is terribly worried about me putting both in it.. she thinks they will fall out.. I keep telling her they will be fine.. and when the twins get more movable they will be in their cribs anyway.

A friend of mine who had b/b twins 4 weeks ago and she was not blessed with cribs. She uses the PNP and it works just fine. I'd say use it. We are going to use the PNP downstairs during the day and their cribs at night.

I had both of mine in the PnP bassinet for the first couple of weeks. The only problem I found was that it tends to sag a little in the middle so once they got a little heavier, they would kind of roll to each other. Not roll so they were face down or anything...more like slide together in the middle. I got nervous so I switched them to their real cribs by maybe 6 weeks. Mine was a hand-me-down from my sister, though, so maybe a new one wouldn't sag as quickly.

I did this for the first 4 months. I didn't have any problems with sagging. The weight limit is 15lbs. We used it during the day only and until the boys were 20lbs combined. When my mom bought it, the guys at BRU said "oh yeah, it can hold 30lbs", but the info in the box said 15. My boys started rolling around that time anyway.

Tell your mom if they can get out of it, you'll have to video tape it and make millions off your amazing Houdini babies!

Something to look into too is a PNP with 2 bassinets. I have seen them and they are side by side but seperate. You could even check and find one second hand. We just got a hand me down PNP with the bassinet the full size of the PNP. Either of options would work.

Mine slapt in a PNP until they were 5 months old. It did start to sag but I rolled up blankets and "blocked" them around the babes and they were fine. I also swaddled until 5 months which limited their movement.

I got the Arm's Reach co-sleeper. Can be used as a co-sleeper or regular bassinet and will convert to a pack n play, too (folds up for travel just like a Graco). The weight limit is 30lbs for the upper (bassinet) portion (just make sure you get the Original, not the mini). It's pretty expensive new but readily available on eBay. I got mine for about $125 which included extra sheets and I plan to sell mine when we're done with it. I wasn't wild about the "twin" version of the Graco since it has seperate bassinets...we plan to sleep the boys together at first.

The peeps aren't here yet but we have assembled it and I think it's going to be a great product.
