Got Some Bad News **Update**

Well my grandfather has been in and out of the hospital the past several weeks with pnuemonia. First they did an x-ray of his lungs and they found a spot on them so they scheduled a biopsy. Well b/c of the type of biopsy they would have to put him under anethesia so they did some tests to make sure that he was well enough to undergo the procedure. During these tests they found that he was in heart failure, once they got that under control they sent him home. Well he recently went back into the hospital and has not been responding to the meds they are giving him. So they did a CAT Scan with this they found that it was in his lymph nodes which means it is cancer. THey are going to do another biopsy on Tuesday. I am assuming that they will be trying to find out what kind of cancer it is and the extent of it.



They did the biopsy and the cancer is inoperable. They sent him home from the hospital b/c there is nothing more they can do for him. the doctors are giving him a 20% chance of survival with chemo and radiation which he starts next week.

My heart does ache for you!! I understand...I found out last week that my dad is terminal. We will find out next week how much time is left. I'm so sorry for you!!!!!
