Well, this comment was more towards the # of kids I have (5)...but it still falls into the "not so smart" category!! I took all 5 to McDonalds to celebrate the end of their Spring Break. Of course, the girls in the double stoller got "oh & ah" over, which was fun. Then some guy says, "Are they all your's?" I confirmed they were indeed. Then he says, "are you happy?"...I said, "what?"...him, "are you happy, you know, uh, happy?"...LOL, I replied, "yes, they are good kids".

what the heck do you say to that? "no, I'm suicidal." lol

Speaking of being out with lots of kids....I had the twins (in a stroller) and my older son and his best friend out walking around downtown. I RUDE man came up to me and said, "Why don't you have more kids with that uterus of yours!" I was so taken back that I didn't answer and just kept on walking! Had I been thinking clearly, I should have said, "I enjoy the money the state gives me for welfare for each child! That is why I keep having them." (Just to get a rise out of him.

I also have 5 and I thought I had heard them all, but that is a new one. I did have a lady tell me not long ago "better you than me." I just agreed with her, the nerve of some people! Personally, I think 5 is a great number! [IMG]

I only have my two but I plan on having more. I already get strange looks with the twins. Having large families used to be the norm, its amazing that people have forgotten that. My granddad is one of 16. [IMG]

We have five, a "yours, mine and ours" situation. We have full custody of my daughter from a first marriage and both of my step daughters as well... and of course the twins. I raise them all full time and they all call me "Mom". When people find out 2 of them are step daughters they say "oh so they are not all "really" yours"... well yes they are all "mine"... how do you think that makes my SD feel!!?? Like I am gonna say "on no.. they arent "really" mine" some people... I guess I know what they are thinking ... but do they realize what they are saying and how horrid it sounds to a 7 and 5 year old!?
