    Hi,

My babies are currently on Similac Ready-to-feed and my DS is just not liking it anymore. What are your opinions on Good Start. Thanks

Maria still loves it and Sophia doesn't anymore. You really have to try it and see your baby's reaction, because it really the matter of a personal taste and tolerance

Both of my girls were on Good Start Soy formula after breastfeeding. We tried four different kinds of formula before trying the Good Start and it worked out great for us. We went from Similac, to three different kinds of Enfamil, to finally the Good Start Soy. It seemed to be the only kind that kept my girls from spitting up so much.

I am a WIC dietitian and I must say I wish our contract was with goodstart. Good start is 100% Whey, all other regular formulas are a mixture of whey and casein. Casein is the milk protien that causes constipation and most of the gas in babies. This makes Good Start the best regular formula for babies with some GI problems. Plus, it doesn't have the nasty smell that Similac has.

We breastfeed, but I have three cans of Good STart just in case. This would be my number one suggestion for regular formulas!

I have ID twin girls that have been on good start since they were about 4 1/2 months old. This was our 4th formula and the only one that agreed with them, so I guess you could say WE LOVE IT! They are 10 months old and still eat it.

All of my kids (all 5) have been on Good Start (purple label) and it's been awesome for the girls' reflux. Their pedi said she has had many patients with reflux babies tell her the Good Start worked when the Nutramigen did not. We love it!

We have been on Good Start Supreme since about 3 months old. They love it and we've had few constipation/gas or upset tummy issues since switching. The only constipation we've gotten was a result of introducing solids. It was a great switch in my opinion!

We feed Kaeden Good Start and have been since 7 weeks [IMG] He seems to like it, we havent encountered any issues whatsoever with it. One time, my father in law purchased some formula for the twins..was a no name brand I think...anyway..I tried to feed it to Kaeden and he kept puking it up..so I stopped..chucked it out and bought more Good Start [IMG]

Used good start with my twins after trying all others. It worked great for them. Ditto the 100% whey thing.
