Well my mother is going in to help and get a doll house for Brianna I have posted on here before how she is not in to anything well lately she has been playing w/some of her barbies and she uses this little house she was given and seems to be playing w/it alot over the last couple weeks...she has seen doll houses so I think we are going to get her one.

But for a 5 year old, what are good ones that are sturdy...I really like the hanna montana house....its cute...made for older kids but then there are the big ones I think she would really love that you see that are almost or as tall as she is for the same price...

Does anyone have one what do you think (review) I want to make sure we get a good one that is going to last....esp. for the money we are going to spend on it...Thanks so much.

We have this one and the girls really like it. They are just now starting to play with it, so I think for a 5 year old it would be better.

We also have this one and they just love it. They got it when they turned 4 and are still playing with it 2 yrs later. Our version is yellow and is called the 'twin time' dollhouse, but is otherwise the same.

We have the dollhouse Laura & rubyturquiose mentioned---my girls are 3 and love it. My nieces are 4&7 and love it...it gets daily---hourly play.

Well worth the $ and right now it is on sale in a lot of places. I got furniture on craigslist and Walmart for cheap--they also use polly pocket sized princesses in it all the time!

We have the Little Tike's Grand Mansion, but we use all the Loving Family pieces. My girls love the pieces. I would have gotten the house, but someone gave us this one for free. I personally wish I would have had dollhouse pieces like this when I was little. I have so much fun setting it up!

DD has an older version of this one. She has been using it for 4 years now (although the string to the elevator broke a while ago).
