SuperBabyFood is great. It tells how to choose, store, cook, and freeze, all sorts of foods for baby. It has been really helpful for me. I don't follow all her suggestions but most of them are great. It has a month by month guide so you can introduce new foods each month. It's been great!

wholesomebabyfood.com is a great website, and has a printable cookbook for 3.95, well worth it! [IMG]

I loved the So Easy Baby Food Kit. It had everything I needed and made all my food cooking sessions run quickly. With this, anybody should be able to make homemade baby food.

I also looked at the wholesomebabyfoods site occasionally and owned the Anabel Karmel "First Meals" book but the cookbook in the kit was my favorite.

I use Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron also, and reference wholesomebabyfoods.com. For making food when they're toddlers or something I can see the value of a cookbook with actual recipes or something, but when you're just starting out I honestly think all you need is a list of what foods are appropriate at what ages, a blender, and some ice cube trays. I do think Yaron's book is helpful with info about choosing/prepping/storing various types of foods. Mostly I use it to check when something can be introduced, that kind of thing.
