good and bad news

Well, I will start with the bad. I went to my regular MD today, and have an infection, possilby strep. He didn't due a culture because no matter what he was giving me Amoxocillin. I have been coughing so bad since yesterday, plus super stuffy. Poor DH is on vacation this week to work on the nursery, and had done nothing but take care of me this week. He has been absolutely wonderful too

The good news is, is that I go for my first u/s at MFM in two weeks! I didn't think they would see me til I was 20 wks. I will be about 17 1/2 wks pg, so do you think they will be able to detect the sexes?? I sooooo hope so! I have been getting really excited about that

So, now if I can just get rid of all of my sickies!!

Hope you are feeling better soon! The amoxicillin should help clear it up.

I think you should be able to tell the sexes at that point. My u/s was aroung 18 weeks when they asked me if I wanted to know. We didn't find out though (with either pregnancy). Good Luck!!

We found out at 15weeks - so it's possible!!

 

Yikes!!! That sounds awful to be so sick, but at least you have a good nurse to care for you!

And you should be able to find out the sexes, as long as they cooperate! We found out at 14 weeks, which was exceptionally early, but we were lucky!

I agree, if the babies cooperate you just might be able to tell their genders! Lets hope they behave for you !

 

We found out the sexes at my 18 wk u/s. So hopefully your little ones will show ou what they got!!! LOL

 

hi my wife was diagonsed with strep last week - she too is on amoxcillan. her cough got so bad that we had to rush to ER, where it was discovered that she pulled a muscle in her ribs. she is also on tylenol 3 and benilyn DM to suppress the cough and help with the muscle pain.

the strep cleared out in 2 days but the cough has lingered.

We found out the sex of out babies at 15 weeks, so I hold thmbs for you.

 

sexes are almost always detectable at 16 Weelks so you should be good at 17W! Good luck

I was told at 16w that I was having boys, so I don't see any reason why you cannot find out as long as the babies are cooperate that is! lol

Feel better and good luck! We found out the sexes during the fancy u/s (level 3?), so you should be able to, too.

Yay for getting in to the MFM! I'll cross my fingers for you to see the sexes of the babies.

We found out at 14 weeks last Monday, so it should be possible for you if your babies will cooperate!
