Going to the pedi

DS is still refusing his bottle - I've decided to take him into the doctor's office to make sure it's nothing more serious than either teething or reflux...more to come.

 

Anything new???

eta- I just saw your other post about the reflux coming back. :hug: Hope your little one gets relief soon.

Pedi said that it sounds like classic symptoms of reflux. We are increasing the prescription strength of prevacid -- poor baby. I feel so much better now that I ruled out the ear infection. It could still be teeth, but the pedi seemed pretty confident that it was reflux. I just want to take DS out of his crib tonight and cuddle with him all night. Poor baby.

That is too bad that he is having problems with his reflux, I hope the med increase helps. I hope he starts eating better for you soon. GL and thanks for the update. Keep us posted.

My DS had major problems with reflux too. We increased his Prevacid to 30 mg (15mg in the morning & 15mg at night). It worked like a charm for us! He's a chunky 23 lbs now & loves, loves, loves to eat! Hope you get really good results with the increased medicine too!
