Not too soon at all! In fact, the sun will be good for them. Just do it for a few minutes, 10 minutes max.

Definitely go out! I know the doc told us to stay away from crowds the first month or so, but that doesn't exclude going out for walks and such, or enjoying a great day in your yard or at a park. Go get some air! Have some fun, I remember those first few weeks I was so stir crazy! Still am really.

    Congrats on your LO's btw!

Do you have the travel system stroller? I would put mine in their stroller and pull the shade over for little walks. I also would sit outside on the porch, pedi just said to watch for mysquitos.

We do lots of walks with our travel stroller and put the shades up. The babies love it. Or if i am just walking to the mail box I will take one and put a (overly large- haha) bucket hat on them.

The doctors told us to take them outside for 10-15 minutes each day, but not in the blazing noon sun! They said it's really good for them, especially since they both had jaundice!

Just watch the wind, if it's windy out and they get it in their face babies you will end up with some gassy babies tonight! Otherwise, enjoy the outdoors! :D

My girls have started spending more time outside now that the weather is getting nice here in New Jersey. I've just kept them in the shade, covered with hats. I just had a new deck put on my house...I'm hoping for many afternoons out there this summer!

Take them out for fresh air and a little sun. Try to avoid the strongest sun of the day, which is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Also, you are not supposed to put sunscreen on babies until they are at least 6 months old.

We brought our toddler and 13 week old twins to the zoo and we put muslin cloths over the stroller. They are really lightweight and let the light in.

We went out to eat on the way home from the hospital! So, I would say, no, not too soon. :)
