Tomorrow, BK has a doctor's appt and Aurora is staying home with Daddy. I'm taking BK to the hospital for an ultrasound just to make sure she doesn't have hernias like her sister since they are ID. I'm so accustomed to taking the double stroller everywhere, but that would be overkill for tomorrow.

I'm debating...should I take just the single umbrella stroller or go one step further and just carry her? What would you do?

Oh my, just one kid....what am I going to do with myself???

Do you think its going to be a long appt? I never had a single stroller so I always just carried the one I had to take, but there were times it would have been convenient! I say if you have one you should just bring it to make things easier on yourself. Good Luck at the appt tomorrow! I hope everything goes OK!

I'd take the single umbrella stroller, definitely. It would make is easier on yourself :good:

I wish I had a single stroller when I was lugging Alice through the hospital the other day.

It's so weird to only go out with one child. No weird looks, no comments, it's just like, "hey, I'm a normal person ignore me".

I have just carried mine. BUt we don't have a single stroller, they are all too short for me!(

It is sooo wierd with just one kid. I see twins all the time when I'm out with one, and want to say Hi, but I don't want to be one of those "people" who stops a mom on the go...It's like for that moment I'm not apart of the amazing "mommy of twins club" and it's hard!(

But it's great to have that one on one, my boys are only 7mths old, but I can see they really enjoy it.

I hope your appt went well!!

Do you have a carrier?? When I've gone out with just one I've carried them in a Mei Tai or Bjorn. It's so nice to have both hands free and not pushing anything!! Hope her appointment goes well!!!

Ditto. I once carried my DS to his appt and I was shattered afterwards as he weighed so much! Having a single pram definitely helps. I´d take that. It is very strange going out with one baby - no staring!!!
