Going Home!

So after 13weeks 2days of hospital bed rest I'M GOING HOME!!!!!! Yay!!! I'm so excited!

I have an appointment on Monday to have my cerclage removed and then I'll be off bed rest completely. (I'll be 36wks on Monday.) Now if we could just hold these little monsters in until at least Tuesday- Mommy wants to go to a store and out to eat!!! :laughing:

To all of you still on bed rest- hang in there! You can do this!! Take it day by day and before you know it weeks have flown by.

I'm so happy for you! I hope the babies give you a couple of days before they decide to come.

That's so exciting! It will be interesting to see how long after getting the cerclage out things start to happen! Did the Dr give you any idea of what to expect? Will they monitor you for awhile after removing the cerclage to see if you dilate rapidly or anything? I hear you on wanting to get out and get things done AND EAT somewhere that doesn't require me putting a pillow under my plate to hold it! If I get to 36 weeks, my mom and I have an agreement that she'll go with me to that one and we'll hit a restaurant on the way home. She has done SO much since I went on bedrest with my house and the kids and I think we both need a nice meal out!

Keep us posted! You are SO close to meeting your babies!

 

That is so exciting!!! Hopfully they stay in a few days so you can have a few days of shopping, eating out, and evrything else you want to do before they are born!!

Yay!! I know how good it felt to get out after 10 days, so I am sure you are estactic. Take it easy- I am sure you will wear out easy. Good luck on Monday- I am hoping for the same- to come off meds, and bedrest at 36 weeks!!! I want to go out with my hubby once before the babies come!!!

 

Congratulations on hitting such an important milestone!!! You've given me hope that i can make it through this aggravating time.

That is such great news. I can't even imagine having to do bedrest for that long, I was going crazy after 4 weeks! Great job!!

 

Gina, that's fantastic! Be warned tho - you're going to feel totally out of shape and short of breath with the slightest activity! I swear I can barely carry around my older son anymore because my arms are just not as strong as they once used to be - either that or he gained weight while i was on bedrest. Best wishes for a great delivery. You're so lucky to make it to 36 weeks.
