I just tried on my work clothes. I go back to work in 2 weeks. Ugh, I'm going to need to wear maternity pants. This is so depressing! My last babies were summer babies so I did a lot of walking on maternity leave. I haven't exercised at all with these two. I never got really huge with the twins since they were born at 33w.....I was hoping I'd bounce back sooner.

It sure seem like my hips are so wide. Did your hips get wider with twins????

Oh yes, my hips were definitely still wider at that point, but it has gotten better. Don't be too hard on yourself, you are only 2 months PP!

Omg I know what you mean. Granted, I'm not in maternity pants anymore, but I might as well be...and the only reason I'm not is because my mom gave me some of her jeans (which have since gotten tighter...). I hate that mine were born in late summer, so by the time I was really able and felt like doing more, it was cold out, and I have not been able to do any walking or anything yet! *UGH* I really need to start working out or something, and I cannot WAIT for spring to get here so I can do all kinds of walking!

I totally understand! I actually went shopping right before going back to work and bought a couple of dress pants in a larger size. I didn't wear them forever, but I did feel better than wearing maternity. Don't be so hard on yourself... it took 33 weeks for your body to change and adapt and it will take time for it to go back.

Oh yeah, I was still wearing my maternity shorts (I live in FL) for at least 6 months. The weight will come off.

I still wear my maternity pant sometimes. The ones I had in my very early days of my pregnancy don't really look or feel like maternity and they are super comfortable. I also wear a couple pairs of pants that I bought a size bigger since they are more comfortable for work. At Christmas I got a couple gift cards so that I could go shopping for new clothes that actually fit right so I am looking forward to when I have a Saturday to go shopping.

It took me almost a year to get back to my pre-pregnancy size and my belly STILL isn't like it was before. <sigh> I feel your pain.
