Go to SLEEP already!

For crying out loud. They went to bed an hour late last night then got up 1/2 hour early. I was expecting a decent nap after the scream fest that was my morning but noooooooooooooo... 40 minutes and up with a double-dose of poop dancing fun. And, as always, they took full advantage of me being busy with the mess and they dipped cups of water from the toilet to pour into the dog's food (and I don't mean the little dish, I mean the big plastic container with 30-some pounds of kibble in it!!!) I seriously put them in the car and took them to Hobby Lobby so that I wouldn't LOSE MY FREAKING MIND. Oh, and TMI but it's the wrong day of the month to be pissing mommy off to begin with!

Anyone else have "one of those days"?

 

OH DEB!!! I hope they go to sleep soon!! They sound a little over tired!!

I am SO LOOKING forward to bedtime myself too!!! :hug99: I feel ya!!!

 

OMG I should have never opened this post. Now I see what's in store for me in another year. :blink:

Gee, that life sounds eerily familiar. Hmmm.

 

No one took a nap in my house today - and then an hour early for bedtime, both twins were hanging on my going "night, night" which is their cue that they are ready for bed. At least they didn't get into too much trouble today - just seriously cranky day here.

 

Ughhh, I hate those days!!!!! Here's to bedtime :drinks:

 

I let the girls play outside this afternoon and got out the finger paints so they could make a mess on their little table out there. Well they did and I got out the hose to spray the table down and them down. One of the girls ended up getting a little in her eyes and kept rubbing them getting more and more finger paint into them. The finger paint was homemade and made primarily outta dish soap! Needless to say I'm scooping her up and yelling at Eve to come into the house from the kitchen holding Sy over the sink splashing water in her eyes to try and flush the soap out. The dog ran outta the door, Sy's screaming bloody murder cause she's freaking out, Eve's running around in the driveway, the neighbor's are calling child protective services cause there's a crazy lady yelling at her children at the top of her lungs!! (just kidding)
Screw the schedule and any order to things. I threw them into the tub after rescuing Eve from the driveway and whistling the dog back inside and drying Sy's eyes. I'll NEVER make that fingerpaint outta liquid dish soap ever again!!!!

At 10pm they're sound alseep. That didn't take em long tonight. They're usually up for at least an hour or so, guess I wore them out with all that drama today. They'll just be 2 next month, whew....great what I've got to look forward too. I'm glad someone else knows what it's like.
Good thing we have a sense of humor right?!

 

i still don't understand how boys who look that angelic can get into so much trouble!!!
