Glucose Test Tommorrow

I have the glucose test in the tommorrow morning.

I'm just wondering what I can safely eat before I take the test? I really want to pass!!! I don't have time to take the 3 hour test, so I
m keeping my fingers crossed that I pass.

 

Don't you have to fast before that, or am I thinking of something else? :huh:

 

i had to fast before mine so I didn't eat past 12 the night before.

I didn't have to fast but I stopped eating sugar the day before. The morning of the test I had eggs, 1 piece whole grain toast and coffee with sugar free creamer. Nothing sugary before drinking the glucose solution. Good luck!

 

i just fasted and brought a snack with me to have afterwards, drink lots of water and it will fill up your tummy and make the whole thing more bearable

 

I never had to fast before mine but I have refused the test since my 5th baby..

protein Lisa.. so eat a yummy omelet.

 

Your not supposed to eat for 12 hours before the test.

I just did mine on 4/29. I did not have to fast. The instructions on the stuff I had to drink just told me not to eat or drink anything sugery within 4 hours of the test. Mine was in the late afternoon so I had lasagna and carrots for lunch about 3 hours before getting my blood drawn. I hope that was okay. Hopefully I'll get my results back by Monday. I've never had problems in my 2 previous pregnancies, but who know since I'm having 2 this time??!!
