    Hi!
I wasn't sure where to post this....

I'm looking for a Glider Chair, and have tried many that the seat is just not long enough. I have found some that are, but with the ottoman are about $700+!! Like the Dutillier (sp?).

Anyone have any suggestions? I've only "tested" the ones at BRU, and even the expensive ones seemed a bit rickety...

    Thanks for your thoughts!!

How tall are you? I'm 5'8 and I fit in my glider just fine. I just bought one from a local furniture store, the ones in BRU were too expensive plus I wanted one that looked less "babyish" so that I could put it in my living room and use it as furniture for longer than when they are infants. Try looking at regular furniture stores.

We bought the Duatilier (sp?) at BRU and we have not been disappointed. It has been used for almost 4 years everyday through DD and then the twins (we bought it for our older DD before she was born). I love it and my 6'2" DH has slept many a night in it. Just thought I would let you know that we love it.

We have a Dutalier that we love. DH is 6'1" and I am 5'8" but with long legs. We paid around $500-$550. At the time I thought I really wanted the ottoman, but we absolutely did not need it, and I'm sooooo glad we didn't pay the money - I don't even know how we'd have room! It's a great glider and worth the money if you can swing it! We tried the ones at BRU and they were not in the same league (except for the Dutalier that they had). We also found them to be very unhelpful, whereas the boutique where we got our glider was great. Order early though - ours came in 2 weeks AFTER the babies were born. <_<
