Giver/Taker corolation with first born/baby?

On the giver/taker situation, I totally have that, and Sydney (taker) is 4 min. older than sophia (giver)...it seems Sophia knows when to 'pick her battles' and they are 1yr on Wed!

I'm curious if the taker is the older and giver is the younger? Any corolation?

 

Mine are opposite....the oldest by 20 mins (Nate) is very much the giver while my younger one takes and takes. He's kinda a bully.

 

Mine take turns being the "bully" and taking stuff away from each other. I'm trying real hard to work with them and teach them not to do that, but kids will be kids. I can usually get the taker to give the belonging back without too much of a challenge though.

 

My older is the giver. She is the mother and brings Jessy what ever she wants. Jessy how ever tends to take things from Jazzy and tends to bite when she doesn't get what she wants

 

Mine have actually gone through phases. When they were younger Blake (the younger one) was the giver and Katelyn was the taker. But recently the roles have switched and Katelyn (my older one) is definitely the giver, whereas Blake is definitely the taker.

same here for the longest time, but it has started to switch lately

Same here, except Leighanna hits if she doesn't get what she wants.

 

Generally the giver is my oldest (by one minute).

 

DS is my sweet giver and is 6 minutes older. DD is more of a taker out of the 2 although she does give back if asked nicely. :lol:

 

James and Sean are pretty equal as far as give and take go. They switch roles on what seems to be an hourly basis.

 

McKenna is younger by two mins and by FAR not the giver. She takes whatever she wants whenever she wants. She loves to be in charge and will give Mitchell HIS sippy cup and stuff...but nothing of hers. Mine have always been the opposite of what the stereotypical roles of baby b and baby a are. Mitchell was much sicker so everyone used to call him baby b in the nicu....apparently baby b is usually the sicker one!

 

My younger is my bully. He has been since he was old enough to barrell over his brother.

 

Both of mine were born by c-section within the same minute, but Regan was the first one out and is generally the "giver". Tessa was second out and she is usually the "taker". Tessa can be quite the bully to her sister. About the only thing that Regan ever takes from TEssa are books. She loves to steal her books!
