Girls Came Early

My girls are here!!! Born on July 24th (36 weeks)! Madyson Nicole born at 1:32pm weighed in at 4 lbs 10oz, and Ravyn Rae born at 1:33pm weighed in at 5lbs 10 oz. They are so beautiful! Everything went well, no problems. Here are all the details....

I went on July 23rd for my 3D ultrasound because one of my girls had a 2 blood vessel cord and my doctor just wanted me to have another u/s with an peri. After the doctor looked at the u/s results they thought that there was an 34% growth differences between the girls...at which point the peri decided that he wanted the babies to be deliver early...because the smaller baby would have a better chance of gaining weight outside of me. As it turned out...we had to wait until the next day because I had stop on my way to the appointment to get some lunch.

The c-section was so much better than I thought! Things could not be better!!

Madyson will not breastfeed because she is so small...but I've been very successful at breastfeeding Ravyn.

CONGRATS!!! Their names are just precious! Gorgeous pictures and you have a beautiful family! I'm glad to hear that all went well! All those wonderful pics brought tears to my eyes (happy ones, or course!). I can't wait to have a newborn again!
