Hi Everyone - just sharing pics of my nursery for the girls arriving soon...hope everyone is doing well. The poem is from Where the Sidewalk Ends, Shel Silverstein.

What a great room. I love the murals. They have a blanket at Target that has a bird really similar to that one (it says Peace on it). I like how each girl gets their own "theme" what a great way to give them an individual flair.

GORGEOUS! I dearly, dearly love Shel Silverstien. "The Light In The Attic" is the one I read to the kids out of the most. He can give you goosebumps, can't he?

What kind of cribs did you get? I am still deciding on that.



We got so lucky on the cribs. We were on a very tight budget so we had to be crafty. The natural would one is Bonavita crib made in Italy - we got that and a matching changing table for $100 total off of craigslist. I did a lot of research and inspected it thoroughly but the people were legit and we are very happy (we replaced the mattress). The second is a brand new Amy Coe crib from Babie R Us. My sister-in-law gave us her crib but a slat was broken. It was Jardin and I looked it up and it was recalled - I sent in the paperwork and got a voucher for $330 for BRU, so we got that crib for free!!! It is definitely our favorite crib so we put our favorite bedding in the other one to keep things fair. Neither crib is a convertible, but the size of that Amy Coe is great and the mattress can be set to 3 depths. I was very excited on how lucky we got! Good luck finding your cribs.
Earlier someone mentioned a matching bird blanket at Target. It is pink and I bought it the other day - I could not resist!

Thanks everyone so much for your feedback - my house is trashed (and we are not going to reach that goal in the next two weeks) but I now feel like I can have these babes and have a nice room of sanctuary for them and me!
