Gift for the big brother to be

I am wanting to do something special for my five year old little boy when the babies are born. I would like to have him a special gift to open when he comes to meet them at the hospital. Does anyone have any ideas? He is excited to get the babies a little gift as well. Any thoughts are appreciated.

 

I bought a silver ring for my 5 yr old when the twins were born. We also bought a nice watch for my 7 yr old. They both loved the gifts and thought they were special.

 

I got DS toys. I got him Percy and Diesel from Thomas the Tank Engine. I told him that his brother 'knew' that they are his favorites. Seemed to work out real well.

 

I got my DS who was also just bout 5, a Leapster, that I had actually picked up Christmas time, I figured it would keep him busy while i was busy with the babies

 

Seems like he is excited about the babies and being a big brother. We got our older kids when the babies were born t shirts that said I'm the big Sister/Brother. Give him some bragging rights! Maybe even his own camera that he can take pictures with!

 

My 3 year old DD is obsessed with horses, so I bought her a cute set of play horses. I'm also planning on giving it to her at the hospital when she comes to see the twins for the first time.
