getting ready to go to the hospital

    Hi ladies.

    I have been pretty sick since yesterday. When I had my appt last week Dr. put me on Reglan and Zofran and it really seemed to be helping. I had a few really good days. Well yesterday the meds stopped working and Im back to being sick. I have not held anything down since yesterday. I called my ob and the nurse said to go to the er and ask for an ob resident. said they will put me on a 24hr hold and give me fluids.

    its been along time since I had to do this but the ironic thing is that this was about the time I went in with the boys for the first time. Since the boys due date and this babies due date are only 4 days off I guess theres going to be alot of similar things.

    anyway wish me luck. I just want to feel human again.

    I hope you are able to get some relief. My SIL had severe hyperemesis her first pregnancy (wans't quite as bad during her 2nd, but she still had it bad) and I just remember her always in the hospial, IV meds in her leg, etc. I hope they give you SOMETHING and it helps!

    Oh gosh, I could have written your post in the begining of this pregnancy. The IV Zofran always worked wonders for me!
