We just started solids and are currently eating sweet potatoes. The babies love them, but our cloth bibs and burp clothes are now permanently stained orange. Any suggestions??

Congrats on starting solids. I remember it well with my daughter and OxiClean worked for us wonders. What I did before each wash was to soak the clothes in the water and Oxiclean for few hours and it worked everytime. Hope this helps.

I used to keep a big tub full of Oxy Clean solution and put the bibs in there. At night I would wash the days worth of bibs. For clothes I would spray them (Zout worked great on baby food...even homemade) then have them soak in the Oxy Clean. Also, I finally sucked it up and bought the Bumkin big bibs with sleeves. They still fit my 2 year olds so they are worth the investment.

OxyClean works the best that I've found.

    OxyClean works well.

Also, I recently started using long-sleeved Kushies bibs. We bought them from Walmart.com and we like them so far. They are kind of pricey though, at 2 for $20.

I use the oxyclean spray when I go through the laundry before putting it in to wash and then use the oxyclean laundry stuff when actually doing to laundry to catch any other stains I might have missed. LOVE oxyclean!
