Getting induced tomorrow morning!

So, I will be 38 weeks and 2 days as of tomorrow. I cannot believe I have made it this far, especially given my daughter came early at 35 weeks. Who would have thought my body would go the distance with twins!? Anyway, my doc doesn't want to let me go to far past 38 weeks. Both babies were head down as of last week so we will try for a vaginal delivery. (Two sacs, two placenta's)
I keep waiting for contractions or my water to break.... which haven't happened. So I think I am FREAKING out knowing tomorrow will be the day no matter what! I am so scared of being induced! I know the odds are things will be fine, but I am like hyperventilating and crying! Maybe it's hormones....as I am so TIRED of being pregnant! I am beyond huge and just want them out! Every part of me hurts now. My body is sore everywhere.

Anyway, I will spend today with my 2 year old, trying not to be an emotional wreck the entire day. LOL. Just got to breathe and keep the negative scenarios OUT of my head! (So easier said than done).

Good Luck to you. I was induced wioth my last baby and he was out 3 hours later it was so quick and easy. You will do great!!!! Enjoy the day with your daughter. Being away from the twsin when I was giving birth to Ty was the HARDEST thing about the delivery.

 

i'll be 38 weeks and 2 days when i have my section done next friday...i specifically asked to NOT be induced because of my history..i've had 4 of them done and it's always taken more and more and more to get it to work...i'm not saying that is how it is going to go for you however...the odds are very high that your induction will go quickly and smoothly...i completely understand about being DONE however...i'm at that point right now and i'm so glad i have an end in sight! i keep expecting my water to break as well, everyone keeps telling me that it most likely will and i won't need the section and blah blah blah, but i don't see it happening, at all, any time soon!
