We recently switched the convertible seats and now have to carry both boys in. We park on the street and although it is a pretty quiet street, when I am by myself I really struggle with leaving one of the boys in the car unsupervised. Plus with the heat – I don’t like leaving them in the car with the windows up?
    Any suggestions?

have you thought about taking them out to the car in the stroller? that is the only way i have been able to figure out how to get them to the car at the same time now that we are in convertible seats...

Cant really do the stroller as there are many stairs to the front door - but good thought :)

I haven't encountered this problem much at my home, but when I visit friends where I have to go quite a distance from car to front door I put one of the babies in my moby wrap and carry the other.

I would love to see more answers to this. I struggle with the same question. I was thinking a cheap, single umbrella stroller to sit one of the babies in while I hold the other until I get to the door. Of course, I haven't tried this yet, but it's a thought?!?

Can you still see the car? I generally just take one in, pop him/her in the exersauser quick (whish is basically right inside the door) then run out to get the other. So, it might take a total of 1 min.

Bumbo seat just inside the door maybe. If you can see the car from the door. Otherwise I think the mobywrap/carrier idea should work although it seems like a pain to have to get them in there for such a short trip!

We have a jogging stroller on the front porch so today I used that and felt MUCH better, not sure why I didnt think of it sooner. Thanks ladies!

I use a carrier when I have to, but luckily we live on the farm and it's pretty safe for me to run one baby out with my 2 yr old, start the vehicle, run back in and get the second baby! :D

we don't have this issue because we park directly behind the house, but i'm wondering have you thought of using a carrier or wrap or sling of some kind? with a sling, you'd be able to slip it on, put one boy in it, pick up the other boy and then go to the house..you can also double up the slings, put each boy in one and still have your hands free to carry your stuff if you need to..
