Gentlease is working

It's been two days on trying the Gentlease formula and I swear I have a fabulous new baby girl named Quinn! She slept 6 hrs last night for the first time ever. Did not wake at 5am crying/fussing. She's had 2 poops (soft) today already. That is unheard of for her. She woke up smiling. And had a super fun playtime on the mat today. I have never had so many smiles, did I mention she is smiling Normally cranky, whiney and very serious so I am shocked. I hope this continues.

The Dr. said to stop with the iron supplements and as far as her straining to poop and puking up he thinks that it because it was so hard for her to poop. No spits ups today with any poops! The crying out midway through a feed could be some reflux issues. But since it doesn't happen every feed he isn't worried. She is doing fine nutrition wise so he said to just see how it goes. She might outgrow it soon.

I will say I am not super impressed with my new Dr. and am planning on still going to the pedi once they call my name on the darn wait list. So dumb. Who does that. I'd rather they just make me an appt a month from now instead of telling me they will call when an appt comes up. Apparently my issues aren't urgent.

I really hope this isn't just one good day, but a permanent change. I actually feel like I got sleep last night. :lazy:

She's pooping like crazy, almost every feed, which is a far cry from maybe going once a day before. I am still concerned about her eating habits. She is not finishing her bottles. She does a burp midway through and then cries when you try to get her to finish the rest. Something is happening after she burps that makes her really upset. I am still waiting to see the Pedi about this. My new family Dr was useless and I may try to go see my old Dr. who I love, but is an hour away if I can't get in with the Pedi soon. Overall she seems happier between feeds, less fussy tummy.
