I use Enfamil for my twins, but it is kind of expensive, especially since now they are eating more! I was at Target the other day, and their brand is half the price of Enfamil... what do you guys think? Do you any of you use the generic and are just as happy with it? I don't want my kids to miss out on the nutrition they need, especially since I was unable to breast feed  Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Same here..I read in a different post that the only reason it is cheaper is because they do not have the overhead like some companies have like in advertising. My girls use the soy and like it just fine. The diapers rock as well!!!

I use Parent's Choice from Walmart as well. The girls have done well on it and the pedi was fine with it. They actually have a comparison right there on the label and it is exactly the same as Enfamil.

I use Walmart's brand for the same reasons- word for word, the ingredients are the same, my ped told me that they can do this because they don't have the expense of advertising or going to dr's offices with samples, etc... My boys do fine with it and it's half the price! I ran out last night and couldn't get to Walmart so I had to buy enfamil and I felt like I was being ripped off!!!

I used Kirkland's generic (Costco) because it was 2 cans for $19.99, and in a label comparison is the same as Enfamil. Loved it, and loved the price!

I use store brand. As far as I've been able to find out, many of the store brands are all made by the same company. When we switched from Good Start to store brand we saved $12 per case of concentrate. That's a huge savings.

We have used mostly parent's choice gentle formula and are have had absolutly no problems with it! My girls are drinking enfamil gentlease right now- just because we got two free cases in the mail (can't pass up free!). My ped told me absolutly not to use generic- but if you check out the FDA's website- it is all regulated by them- and has to have at least the minimum requirements of nutrients or it wouldn't be on the shelf! Good luck with your decision!

I was so nervous at first to use store brand, but I tried it and they love it Pedi says it's the same. I use to get it for 15.99 a can for the big can can't beat that. I get Wic now and you really can't beat that. Your twins won't even notice the difference.

[SIZE=10pt]We started off using Enfamil~Enfacare, as this is what the hospital had them on. After talking with our PEDI we asked about the Costco brand (Kirkland), he said that it is the same as the name brand formula. Just as pp's have said...they just don't have to pay all the advertising costs and such. We made the swtich and our lil ones have done really well on it. And at $19.79 for two 25oz cans...I love the price!

My kids were on Neosure for 6 months and those small cans were $15 a piece (almost 1 can a day) so I was excited when we started using the Sams club brand. It was $20 for a HUGE can...it's almost twice the size of the regular Enfamil cans. My kids did great on it! The can would last me almost a week...even when they were drinking 4 bottles a day!

I use Target with DHA/ARA. Formulary is exactly the same as Enfamil Lipil with DHA/ARA. Saves us serious money! Also I do Luv's diapers at home (206 in a pack of Size 3s) and Costco/Target at daycare (they change them every 2 hours).

Try to save money whenever you can!
