We just found out our twins are boy/girl and I am trying to figure out how to do the nursery they will share. If you have pics of a gender neutral or boy/girl nursery, can you please share your pictures? :)

Congrats on finding out you are having b/g twins!! We were so excited when we found out we were having one of each. :)

Sorry I'm no help for the nursery, mine are in separate rooms and we really never had a theme.

I dont have any pictures, but we are doing our nursery in neutral colours as we do not know what we are having! What i have done is the room is a soft yellow and white, top 1/2 of the wall is yellow and the bottom half is wainscotting that i painted white. Then all of the trim and the closet door are white. The cribs and dressers are also white. We are very happy with this and so far any color that i have brought into the room looks really good. For bedding i found neutral stuff (baby bigbird sleeping on a moon) this was on a 75% off sale so i grabbed the last two.

Everyone that has seen the nursery loves it!...we chose not to do a "theme" so it was easier if people wanted to get us stuff...plus i get bored easy and like to change things up a bit!!!

I hoped this helped you out a little bit :)

We did a vintage circus theme for our nursery. The room walls are off white because the rest of nursery is primary colors mostly. I sewed pillows made out of old circus hankerchiefs and framed some vintage circus prints that I found at a flea market. The nursery bedding is by Kidsline but we mixed in some pottery barn zoo stuff as well. I stayed away from clowns because I think that they can be a little scary, but the kids really like the primary colors. A good friend of mine is having B/G twins and she is doing a zoo theme. She painted her walls a deep sage and has a lot of earth tones.

I have one pink and one blue side. The walls are just light white / yellow (we have a rental). All furniture is white and then I bought pink and blue stuff at Land of Nod and PBK. As soon as we have our own place (wherever that may be) they'll get their own room and then they already have some stuff in the right colors!

I don't have pictures yet (as the room is only half done), but we decided to go with a moon and stars theme for our b/g twins. The top part of the wall is painted in a light blue, the bottom part in a dark blue, with a blue and yellow moon and stars border inbetween. On the top of the wall we are going to do yellow stars, and throw in some purple accents/wispy things to make it a little more feminine. If you click on my blog link in my siggie there is a picture of the bedding, I think its a little boyish, but with the addition of the purple, it will work well for both babies.

We have two boys but common themes for b/g twins in our family (there are two sets) are the zoo theme from Burlington Baby Depot - it's darker colors but with alot of different fabrics...another ould be the Noah's Ark theme, since they're twins.... also, our theme is Clasic pooh and it's ligh pastels and i believe that Target now makes two matching sets only one has a pink tint to it, so you could do one set at a boy and one as a girl....k i just looked and i guess i was wrong but this is what i found.....Classic Pooh Bedding . I think that this is adorable and although we used it for our boys, my friend just used it for her little girl....so it could go either way. I dont think i have any pictures though but we painted the bottom a light tan and the top an eggshell color and then seperated it with the boarder from Target here. I took the leaf and the bee design off of the boarder and made it into a stencil and then used them to stencil onto the walls. I used the same color paint as was on the boarder and added glitter to it so when the sun would hit it, the bees and leafs would glitter. I got classic pooh fabric from walmart and made my own curtains for in the room instead of buying the ones from target b/c they were too see through and not dark enough.

Good Luck and I hope i helped

Hi - I just had boy girl twins on 6/26/07 - I haven't shared my story yet on the boards. They aren't home yet but here are some pictures of the nursery.
I did apple green and bought all of the linens at www.companystore.com. They are really reasonable, have a high thread count and it's cheaper than buying a packaged set. I bought polka dots for our girl and gingham checks for the boy along with matching solid green crib sheets so I can interchange everything. The bumpers are reversible too.

No wall decorations yet, I think I am going to do their names above the cribs in wooden blocks or maybe hang a letter for their initials on the wall above the cribs.

Here's the link to the photos:

I am having B/G twins today. We have Pooh and friends all over the room. We did intermingle the classic and Disney versions. We painted the walls a golden yellow, the ceiling a sky blue, and I painted grass along the baseboard...not as hard as it sounds. I decided to draw pooh characters on the walls...not done due to swelling. My sister also put a puzzle together that is framed to hang up. If this sounds like something you want to see pics of, PM me and I will get it taken care of...next week sometime.

I have also heard of Raggedy Ann and Andy themes as well as Jack and Jill. Good luck deciding.

My husband and I are going with Winnie the Pooh Classic nursery decor from Target. Here is a link to it. Hope it works. Otherwise, you can see it by going to target.com, click under Baby, Bedding, Neutral, and Classic Pooh Collection.

Even though we have two girls, we didn't find out before their birth. We wanted their room to be suitable for either sex or one of each.

It was already painted yellow. The cribs were a slightly distressed maple finish (they didn't match to start with, but the friends who loaned us theirs refinished the other one to match!). The bedding was from Carter's; I'm not sure of the name, but it had zoo animals and little stars. It was blue and yellow, but to me just babyish, not boy or girl. But I'm not one who has to have a pink explosion for my girls, either.

We also already had a picture of a labrador retriever sitting by a garden door that was covered in climbing roses. I decided that for a boy, I'd find accents for the room more focused on the dog; for a girl, we'd focus on the roses. That way, I could have the basics done, then add a few things to it once the babies were here.

We did put a few girlie touches in the room, but I honestly think you could change it to more boyish in less than 15 minutes! I'm not a natural decorator, so I had to go simple. In looking at the pictures, the most feminine things were their "coming home" gowns, which are actually still displayed on their wall, and the big pink ribbon that we kept on the antique high chair -- but both of those were removed when they started pulling up.

I'll see if I can get pictures loaded.

We did sort of a vintage/Americana theme, with two old Good Housekeeping prints (one of a boy, one of a girl) being the focus.

Our bedding is Kennedy by Banana Fish.

    Here are pictures

Our nursery is gender neutral since we don't know what we are having. I have lots of pics. If you pm me your email, I will send them to you since I don't know how to post on here! For bedding we bought the NOJO Como. It is fun, colorful and a bit more modern than some other stuff. Our walls are a pale green and the furniture is white. We are getting yellow curtains for the windows and will have a yellow curtain or something on the closet as well. Well, it'll make more sense once you see the pics!

An idea that I had is a surfer baby theme. You can paint the walls a sandy color and paint murals of palm trees with pink and blue surf boards. Over the windows, you can do rafia window shams. One crib can have a pale blue hibiscus print and another one can have the pale pink hibiscus print. I did this surfer theme for my son when he was born b/c my husband is a surfer. If you google surfer baby stuff, you will find a lot of nursery stuff you can do a room with. Just a suggestion to add to the many amazing ones listed above!

I did a surfer baby theme for my first son. For twins, I thought about doing the walls in a sand color. I googled "do it yourself murals" and found a mural of a palm tree with surf boards leaning on them which can be painted pink and blue. On the windows, you can do rafia window valances which you can get at DeanMiller.com. Then one crib can have the pale pink hibiscus print and the other a pale blue hibiscus print. Just another suggestion to add to the many amazing ones above. Good luck and have fun!

This is what I used and what is good about it is that they have a pink and blue set ...yet they are still the same. Many cute accessories...lamps, rugs. It wasn't priced too bad either. We then painted the top half of thier room a soft yellow and the bottom a pastel green and used the classic pooh border in the middle. Then my FIL painted the ceiling blue with white clouds. I will take a picture and post it soon....I am at work right now.

I have to say I love the NOJO como stuff. I love bright colors, and while we arent having a nursery, most of the sheets and blankets and stuff we are getting are bright (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple) colors. This is the theme for my baby shower as well. My mom did clowns in my room when I was a baby and we have some of that stuff still that we will be using. Bright colors are great, and if you incorporate them all, then it is boy/girl friendly. Babies r Us has solid, bright colored bumpers, sheets, ruffles, etc. in all the different colors. :) Good luck!

With the twins we are doing a zoo theme (we don't know the sexes) we got it at target. For my son (we also did not find out the sex) we did Raggedy Ann and Andy....I think that would be super cute for B/G twins:)

Okay, after i read this again, i decided to go and take pictures of the boys room...mind you it's supposed to be naptime (notice children standing in cribs laughing...) anyways, this is our messy classic pooh room (second one...we moved). I found the shelf at a garage sale for like .05cents and painted in and put the classic pooh saying "it's so much friendlier with two.." on it. Bought the letters for their names and then hung them up with blue ribbon after painting themwith blue and glitter. so, hth

both beds and window wallbrendens bed and pic on wallanother pic wallshelf on wall
    same shelf just diff. view
    landons bed and wall
    brendens bed again

anyways, like i said i hope that helps...it's messy
