GD?

I did my one hour glucose test and my level was 136. My OB said that was fine that they don't do anything unless it was 140 but to me that seemed kind of high and quite borderline. What were your levels at for the one hour glucose test?

 

They told me I failed the first hour by 8 points. When I took the 3 hour my 2nd hour was 208, now thats pretty high!!!

 

Mine was 93, but I was diagnosed with low blood sugar (or hypoglycemia) at 18 years old.

 

I think my one hour test was around 160 ... I failed it and had to take the 3 hour test. My nurse told me that 90% of people that don't pass the 1 hour end up passing the 3 hour test. BTW, I was told I did perfect on the 3 hour and don't need to worry about GD. Therefore, I'm sure you're just fine!

 

i didnt have to do it this time as I had GD last pg..Anything under 140 is considered passsing at least here...so your fine..If for some reason they think your gaining weight to quickly they can always have you redo it later on.

I failed mine by 2 points and ended up failing the 3 hour too. The diet that they put me on was not too bad!
