GD and Test Results

Hi ladies! I'm 26.4 weeks pg with tiwns...on hospital bedrest for no cervix and dialated.

They did the Gest. Diabetes Glucose Test this morning, it was 144...normal is below 140...they are doing the 3 hour test tomorrow. I'm hoping since it's so close it won't be a big deal.

And of you have this and what were your numbers and outcome? Anything in particular I can do today to help the 3 hour test tomorrow? Eat no carbs?? Drink lots of water??

I just really don't want anyt other issues right now!

I don't remember the exact number, but my 1-hour test was just slightly over the limit and my 3-hour was fine. Hope it works out that way for you, too. I don't know anything special to do, although steering clear of sweets and eating plenty of protein the day before would make sense to me.

 

my 1 hour was 162 and i passed the 3 hour test. i have a friend that passed the 3 hour test after her numbers on the 1st test were in the 180s. good luck. i know you will pass!!!

You have to fast before the 3 hour anyway. I made the dumb mistake of eating carbs before the 1 hour. Haven't heard back yet about the 3 hour so I'm guessing no news is good news. LOL
My 1 hour was 170.

 

My one hour was just over . My 3 hour was just over as well and they put me on the GD diet..

Any news? Did you pass?? I hope you did! It sucks being pregnant and not being able to eat what you are craving!!!
