Gassiness, does it ever end?

My boys are 11-1/2 wks (5-1/2 wks adjusted) and seem even more gassy than ever. I had hoped that once their BMs had stabilized from one every feeding to one or so a day that they'd start feeling more comfortable, but it just keeps getting worse! Gripe water doesn't seem to help.

6-about 15 or so weeks was the height of gassiness/fussiness for us, so you are right in the thick of it. It does get better.

Gripe water never worked for us either. I did put a few drops of Mylicon in each bottle to help with the gassiness.

I was complaining about this on the forum at 6 weeks and someone told me that 6-10 weeks was the normal time and I didn't know how I could deal with another 4 weeks. I'm glad I made it to 10 weeks and beyond before I found out it was 6-15 weeks! :D

Dr Brown's bottles and mylecon drops in EVERY bottle saved my sanity.

I would definitely try Mylicon drops in the bottle/oral & try peddling their legs to relieve any gas. That seemed to help for us!

With as often as we do 'baby bicycle', they're going to be experts when we put them on a real one! ;)

My DD suffered until she was 6 months old, nothing seemed to relieve her of it. When we got her tested for reflux, the Dr commented on how much air was in her stomach. It was everywhere! Then suddenly at 6-7 months, which coincided with her sitting up unassisted, it all seemed to disappear!
