I feel so bad! Our little man will be in so much pain it hurts me! He fusses and his belly gets so bloated and hard. I've done the Mylicon drops that has helped anyone else have any other ideas I can do to help him?

Gripe water helps as well. You can get it in the little remedies brand. It is also for hiccups.

Ouch! Sometimes the "hot sock" helped my babies: fill a tube sock with uncooked rice, microwave 1 min, lay it over their tummies. It can be very soothing.

Hold him by his feet and throw him over your shoulder - roll his lower belly back and forth over your shoulder - hold on tight to his feet, though. That helped mine a lot. Also it will get better when he starts moving his feet and kicking more. mine had it pretty bad and it went away totally around 2-3 months.

Colic hold. My SIL taught me this and it really soothed my gassy kiddos. Hold baby in the crook of your arm so they are facing the floor wth one of your hands on their belly, and their legs and arms are dangling on either side of your arm (and there head is near the the inside of your elbow). Support with your other arm (while rubbing or patting their back). I hope that makes sense. Wish I could attach a picture of it. Basically you are putting a little pressure on their bellies to get the gas out.

This combined with Mylicon drops in every bottle really helped my girls. GL! -Leighann

I hear ya, my Livi has major bad gas, the mylicon doesn't seem to help much. Laying her on her back and doing bicycles with her legs helps her to get the gas out and quiet her down, I just hate to see her in pain, it breaks my heart. I have also heard that sucking on a paci can help b/c it increases salivia production which can neutralize gas in the stomach but it hasn't made much difference for us.

i did gas drops in every bottle i still do.... We also switched her formula to gentlease and now similac sensative and that helped a ton but we did not do this till 4 months and they were off preemie formula... we rolled her legs alot and put her over shoulder, used heating pad with towel and warm baths. oh and we used gripe water... it helped too...

good luck it sucks to watch them battle it. :(
