Hey everyone. I was finding that we were playing the same games over, and over... and over. BORING. So, I started thinking of unconventional games... and now we've started having a blast. I thought it would be fun to share the fun, unusual games we've started playing and hope others will share their games and kiddos ages.

For example, today (with my 10.5 month olds) we rolled metal napkin rings down the tile hall. First the girls crawled after the rings. Then they banged the rings on the floor and together to make sounds. Then, they tried rolling the rings themselves. Wacky fun.

Yesterday, I threw all of the decorative pillows off my bed and threw the girls on top of them. They had a great time kicking and crawling around in them.

The day before that, I pitched a sheet cave in the living room and we crawled around under it. This wasn't a real success and it scared twin A, but we'll try it again. What kid doesn't love sheet forts???

So, what do you do for fun?

Great ideas! I love the book Baby Play by Gymboree- lots of 0-12 month ideas in there. I remember dumping objects and moving objects from place to place was great with my son. Twins still a bit young. Also, I sing wacky songs and do hand movements all the time. I never tire of it and neither do they.

Yes lots of singing and wacky dancing here:) All 3 of mine are obsessed with dumping and knocking things over so building towers is a no brainer for us:)

My boys LOVE it when we throw a blanket over the dogs.

They also like playing with pots, pans, measuring cups, etc. to make noise. The key is novelty - I only get them out occasionally so they don't get bored with them. They also like when I sing silly songs, dance, and do things like put their toys on my head.
