My guys are 7 months old now and they are doing great, according to the pediatrician, who they saw on Friday. Antonio is 15 lbs, and Salvatore is 17.

Well..... Mr. FussyPants, Antonio (who was also the reflux baby) is driving me nuts. He seriously screams all the time. And, it's NOT pain, because if you pick the guy up, he stops. He needs constant entertainment. FINE. But the screaming is making me insane.
He is also trying to TURN OVER IN HIS infant/toddler rocker. My DD never did this, and Salvatore doesn't try this. UGH! He's even trying to turn over in his swing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes when he eats his solids, he's so fussy that he gags himself into vomiting!!!!!!!!!

    Anyone have any advice?!

I hear ya! I am going through the same thing, and the whining is driving me crazy. I am a few months ahead of you, and honestly I think that babies just go through a whiny stage every once in awhile. They switch roles too. Sometimes it's one that's whiny and sometimes it's the other. It could be teething, but mostly I think they just want attention.

O boy, am I seeing my future? Con just figured out how to scream, he thinks it's great fun to wail. He's not crying but it sounds like it. And he can get super fussy too, he's the littler of the two and can get fussy for no reason. Who knows.

My girls are 5 mths and my fussy one, Caitlin has been like this since birth. She must be constantly entertained and held.
She will scream for apparently no reason and when I pick her up- beautiful smiles. Very frustrating. I don't have any good advice except to ask how is Antonio sleeping? Caitlin seems to be even more fussy/cranky when she isn't getting enough naps throughout the day....

yeah, same thing happening hear. My younger one just wants me to hold her. But, if I am not in her sight she is able to play with her sister and by herself. I hope it is just a phase becuase I feel like I am not givineg the other one as much attention. But the older one will play by herself and entertain for a long time. So in the morning I am sneaking around the house so Kaylee the clinging one wont see me it is crazy. I just pray it is only a phase.

I've got one of those here, too. Bryan drives us all crazy, but we wouldn't trade him for anything!!

    Hi
I wish I could tell you that it does get better. It gets easier taking care of twins as they grow but the winning and screaming is going to be for several months. I have 18 month old twins boy and a girl. My son was such a fussy little baby just like Antonio and everything you said is just like Antonio but now my son, Trevor, is the easy going toddler and doesn't fuss unless he really means something. My daughter, Madalyn, on the other hand never leaves me out of her site and will SCREAM her lungs out to try and have her way or for me to hold her. She is relentless... I try and let her cry and some days she puts me in tears. When Trevor was Antonio's stage he would put me in tears not knowing what to do for him.
I feel for you. Sorry I don't have any adise. My DH tells me to relax and let them fuss but it is so hard when they are so relentless.

Take care and I am happy that their pediatrician appt was all good news.

Antonio actually can only stay awake for about 2 hours, before needing another nap (probl. all the moving around and fussing wears him out!) He is def. fussier when he's tired. But the thing that kills me the most is how he tries to turn over in his infant/toddler rocker!

Did any of your babies do this?!

    UGH!

my Reese is doing the same thing. She discovered that she can scream, and does it often. I think she personally likes to just make noise. And she knows that it gets her some attention. So, we've put in a rule about trying to ignore her for at least 2 minutes..and it seems to be working. She is also the one who is trying to turn over in her bouncy/swing/ rocker. It doesn't matter what she's in, she'll try and flip..we just make sure that she is strapped in..so far she doesn't weigh enough at 6 months to flip it over, but I am waiting for the day. She will be our circus performer for sure!!
