Both of my babies have been soooo fussy today, except one started the fussiness yesterday. They are fine for about 20 minutes after their bottles and then all hell breaks loose. They cry except when we are holding them, and it has to be while we are walking around or they will start to cry if we are sitting. They do not want to be on the floor or play mat at all (usually they can be on their playmat or floor for about 45min.) Tonight I literally had to keep my finger on their paci's until they fell asleep, which is not the norm. One of my LOs would make the face like he was going to have a screamfest and cry for a few seconds then stop, this has gone on all day and tonight I had to rock him to sleep because he would scream if I put him down in the crib for even one second. My babies have never been the kind that need to be held a lot, usually we play on the floor or practice sitting up, they like their bouncies with the toys that hang or their playmats...none of that today!! What's up???

Just a couple of suggestions: 1) if they are getting EBM, maybe you ate something that is not agreeing with them? or 2) they are going thru a growth spurt and maybe they are still hungry?

just a thought. Hope you figure it out.

They are strictly formula fed and eat 7.5-8oz every 3 hours. I thought they might be going thru a growth spurt, but I can't imagine how much formula they could possibly eat!

I agree that they might still be hungry. To be sure you might try to increase their bottle feed by 1 or 2 oz and see if they take it.

I don't think that they could be hungry if they are 3 months old and taking 8 ounces every 3 hours. How much do they weigh?

    Are they refluxers?

They are 13lbs. and 12lbs. 6oz. one of them used to have reflux, but since they have been on Enfamil AR we haven't had any problems and that was a about 2 months ago.
